Arvolve (art + evolve) was founded in 2023 by Alin Bolcas. It started as a character design practice shaped by years in VFX production and fine art, and is growing into the parent of future AI products, tools, and systems, grounded in artistic taste and shaped by continuous technological change.

About Alin Bolcas

VFX character artist and AI developer with nearly a decade of experience across the Sonic franchise, Dungeons & Dragons, Prehistoric Planet, and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Focused on character concept development, sculpting, technical problem solving, and building tools that expand creative range.

Years in production shaped a workflow grounded in character design, sculpting, facial systems, look development, and close collaboration with supervisors, art directors, and directors. A strong foundation in sculpture, life drawing, and anatomy continues to inform the digital work.

Arvolve grew out of a need to keep evolving with each new technological step. Alongside the studio work, Alin develops ArX, a backend framework for creative production and AI development that connects the full pipeline under one system.
